He says some crazy things, doesn't he? It sure would be a tough call on selling it; especially if you are basically just going to break even on the deal. I've always wanted an M3, and I test drove one down in NO for another TTnetter. The owner had done suspension mods, intake, ECU, etc. It pulled a hell of a lot harder than my NA, lol. Also handled really nicely, especially around on-off ramps, etc. But, he lived off Earhardt(sp?) with those *horrible* bumps in the road (practically speed bumps), and it rattled badly. I've debated selling my Z since it has gotten a rod knock and can't be driven. Was trying to decide if it was worth selling and buying something else. I'd consider an E36 M3, E46 coupe or convertible, and an NSX also :-) But, for what it will cost to repair the Z, plus the knowledge I have about maintaining it already, not to mention the TTnet resource, I think I'll stick with the Z. Besides, there are a lot of things to really like about the Z. It still makes me smile when I (used to) walk out of work and see it sitting at the end of the parking lot. The seat is great in the Z; about the most comfortable of any I've sat in. The shifter is located in just the right postion, and I love the way it falls easily to hand. And the T-tops. That's a big plus for the car in my opinion. I love the light they let in with the shades out, and I love the openess with the T-tops themselves out. Virginia is pretty nice. This winter has been a lot more mild than the last one, and living with the water around you is nice. The drivers are better than NO, as are the roads. Also, I don't feel as threatened by crime as in NO.
